Past experience in Sim leagues: Quite a few, probably over 30 now. Two notables have been HASL and TBSL where I split simming duties with two GM's that I believe are currently in DSCSL.
GM Style/Philosophy: Surround my team with a young core that can play offensively and defensively.
Short-term plans for the team: I think Carolina is pretty suited to win now. I'm still not sure if that's the route I would go though. Carolina has some pretty great assets to trade if I were going to rebuild.
Long-term plans for the team: I'd like to turn the Hurricanes into a dynasty that has the potential to win multiple cups (like my Pens in HASL) .... I think with time this goal is very doable...
Your team is first in the east, not by much. Your superstar player is a veteran. You get offered a package of prospects, including the player selected 2nd overall in the past draft. Do you accept the trade? Well depending on the package of prospects I may. It's also depending on the superstar player. If he is a one dimensional player who can only score I would probably take it. I value two way player's more than player's who are only good at one or two things.
How did you find us? Chatzy name changed so I looked up DSCSL and found us. I also knew we were starting a new league xD
